EPA Tool Kit

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is in the process of developing sweeping new regulations that would restrict carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from both new and existing coal-fueled power plants.

Guidelines for existing sources have been established to help states design their own programs to reduce emissions. Comments on these standards are being taken now and are expected to be announced next summer.

The EPA Tool Kit offers more information about these issues and can be emailed or shared with your family and friends.
